And yet, the solopreneurs + small creators making real connections (and real money) online? They’re the ones who aren’t afraid to be true to themselves—quirks, cursing, weird obsessions, and all.

So here’s your permission slip: Stop trying to be what you think your kindreds want. Your weirdness is not a liability—it’s the whole damn point. The more you let people see the real you, the more the right people will find you. And those are the ones who will actually stick around, talk you up to anyone who’ll listen, and buy your stuff (without needing you to do anything gross to make that shit happen).
